我gucci寄来两张明信片提醒Spring Summer sale 就要来了

这次sale的选择很多 official sale6月1日开始

private pre-sale 从两周前就开始了

我看中了春夏款里面的粉红Crystal GG的Abbey Tote和sand GG + pink trim的duffle bag

非常适合温暖的夏风 --- 这就是我今年买给自己的生日礼物拉！

可是粉红包在Sale正式开始之前就被订光了

我拿出去年thanksgiving sale时候的架势

电话打遍各地的gucci店 最后在夏威夷找到有货！

包裹终于到了！！好大的纸盒！比之前收到的都要大。简直快跟我桌子差不多了！

But FBGS makes the loan anyway.

THEN three years later, the real estate bubble bursts, the "value" of the home corrects, and John can't make the payments, so the bank repos the house, along with ten other homes they made imprudent loans on in the same neighborhood. FBGS is left holding  a loan with $799k outstanding on a home that now is priced at $200k by the most optimistic estimate possible. 

The stock market has crashed, other banks are dropping like flies, and the executives at FBGS are frantic to avoid reporting ANY further losses that might unstabilize the bank's standing or piss off their already angry investors. 

Now, the smoke and mirrors.

If FBGS just HOLDS the REO homes, they can report that they have ASSETS amounting to the original sale price of the home/bad loan amount. BUT if they SELL the REO at a now-reasonable post-crash price, say, $200k, they HAVE TO REPORT THE REMAINING $599 AS A LOSS. (BTW this is how Lehman Bros et al crashed.)

So, chances are that the bank has gotten up their nerve to actually sell the house you're looking at, but then panicked and raised the price because they were afraid to write off too much.

In order to find your passion, I suggest you take some quiet time by yourself to answer these questions.  Take time to get in touch with your deep inner self.  Your passion comes from the heart.  Ask yourself these questions:

1. What excites and energizes you?
- Something exclusive...that differentiates me from the others
- Something creative and fun
- When people put lots of faith in me or high expectation 
- Playing diablo 2
- Big sales

2. What brings you joy?
- When I accomplish things in 1
- When I am being respected by peers
- When I feel I am influential
- Travel
- Other relaxing type of activities: video games, shopping, movies etc

3. What activities in your professional life are most enjoyable?
- Not sure so far...

4. What activities in your personal life are most enjoyable?
- Similar to 2

5. When does time seem to fly by?  What are you typically doing?
- Coding / debugging
- Browsering gossip on the internet
- Shopping

6. What past experiences have been most meaningful or significant?  Why?
- Hmmmm...maybe presenting at siggraph? I dont' know why :/

7. If you had unlimited time and resources and knew you couldn't fail, what would you do?
- Run my own high-tech company?
- My own fashion label? 
- Make a movie? A video game?

8. If you had one hour on prime time TV, what subject would you talk about?
- I am not sure...

9. What is the one problem or issue you were born to address?
- Too big a question. I don't know the answer yet...

10. If you had one year left to live, what would you do?
- Travel around the world.

After writing your answers to these questions, review them and look for common themes.  What stands out?  This is an important clue to discovering your passion.  What insights have you gained?  Take time to ponder these things in the coming days and weeks.  It may take time to discover your true passion.
